WATER POLLUTION CONTROL (TOLO HARBOUR AND CHANNEL WATER CONTROL ZONE) (APPOINTED DAYS) ORDER - PARAGRAPH 3

Interpretation

In this order-

"domestic sewage" (住宅污水) has the meaning assigned to that term by
section 9(3) of the Ordinance;

"domestic sewage treatment plant" (住宅污水處理裝置) means a plant at
which domestic sewage is treated and in which 2 or more of the following
categories of items are employed-

   (a)  a grit trap;

   (b)  a screen;

   (c)  a communitor;

   (d)  a sedimentation or settlement tank;

   (e)  aereation;

   (f)  biological treatment through the action of micro-organisms;

   (g)  a submarine pipeline leading to receiving waters;

"existing deposit" (現有的沉積) has the meaning assigned to that term by
section 2(1) of the Ordinance;

"existing discharge" (現有的排放) has the meaning assigned to that term
by section 2(1) of the Ordinance. (Enacted 1987)
