WASTE DISPOSAL (CHEMICAL WASTE) (GENERAL) REGULATION - SECT 28

Retention of trip ticket and copies thereof

(1) Any-

   (a)  person to whom a copy of the trip ticket is handed over under
        section 23(3);

   (b)  waste collector to whom a copy of the trip ticket is handed over under
        section 26(3);

   (c)  reception point manager who completes the trip ticket under
        section 26(2), shall each retain such copy of the trip ticket and the
        original of the trip ticket respectively, at least for a period of 12
        months from the date it is handed over or completed, as the case may
        be, and shall make it available to the Director if so required.

(2) Any person who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and
is liable to a fine of $50000 and to imprisonment for 6 months. (Enacted 1992)
