HOTEL AND GUESTHOUSE ACCOMMODATION (FEES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 4
Adjustment of certificate of exemption or licence fee
(Past version on 30/06/1997).
Where a certificate of exemption or a licence is issued or renewed for a
period less than 12 months, the fee for such issue or renewal shall be
determined as follows-
(a) in the case of issue or renewal of a certificate of exemption under
section 6 of the Ordinance, by multiplying one-twelfth of the fee
under regulation 2;
(b) in the case of issue of a licence under section 8 of the Ordinance, by
multiplying one-twelfth of the appropriate fee prescribed in column 2
of Schedule 1; or
(c) in the case of renewal of a licence under section 9 of the Ordinance,
by multiplying one-twelfth of the appropriate fee prescribed in column
2 of Schedule 2, by the number of months for which the certificate of
exemption or licence is issued or renewed. (L.N. 212 of 2001)
