DISTRICT COURT CIVIL PROCEDURE (GENERAL) RULES - RULE 3

VENUE AND TRANSFER
(1) For the purpose of venue in civil proceedings in the Court, Hong Kong
shall be divided into districts. (L.N. 182 of 1970; 25 of 1998 s. 2)
(2) The boundaries, extent and name of each district shall be determined
respectively from time to time by the Chief Justice and delineated on a map or
plan signed for identification by him and lodged with the Registrar.
(3) A copy of the map or plan for the time being in force and lodged with the
Registrar in accordance with paragraph (2) shall at all times be posted in a
conspicuous place to which the public have access at each registry provided in
rule 4. (L.N. 182 of 1970)
