DISTRICT COURT CIVIL PROCEDURE (GENERAL) RULES - RULE 2

(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires- "Court"
(法院、法庭) means the District Court and any judge of the Court sitting
in court or in chambers; "district" (地區) means a district established by
rule 3; (L.N. 182 of 1970) "district registry" (地區登記處) means a
registry established by rule 4(2). (L.N. 182 of 1970)

(2) Any word or expression which is not defined in the Ordinance or in these
rules shall have the meaning assigned to it by the Rules of the
High Court (Cap 4 sub. leg.). (25 of 1998 s. 2) (L.N. 182 of 1970) "Court"
