Measures regarding steam

(1) Adequate measures shall be taken to prevent exhaust steam, from a crane or
winch used as a lifting appliance, from obscuring any part of a workplace.

(2) Adequate measures shall be taken to prevent, to the extent that it is
reasonably practicable, live steam supplied to a crane or winch used as a
lifting appliance from obscuring any part of a workplace.

(3) If there is a contravention of subsection (1) or (2), the owner of the
lifting appliance and the person in charge of works commit an offence and each
is liable on conviction to a fine at level 3.
