SHIPPING AND PORT CONTROL REGULATIONS - REGULATION 65

Minor prohibitions

(1) No person-

   (a)  shall dredge for any purpose in any cable reserve;

   (b)  shall without the permission of the Director sound a whistle, siren,
        bell, gong or foghorn on board any vessel in a port except as provided
        in the collision regulations or these regulations; (57 of 1990 s. 7)

   (c)  not being a public officer or a member of Her Majesty's forces on
        duty, shall make fast to or cause to be made fast to a ship underway
        within the waters of Hong Kong any vessel except with the permission
        of the master of the ship.

(2) Any person who contravenes this regulation commits an offence and is
liable to a fine of $5000.
