SHIPPING AND PORT CONTROL REGULATIONS - REGULATION 63
Use of lights
(1) Subject to paragraph (2), no person shall use a light on or from a vessel
in the waters of Hong Kong in a manner that is likely to interfere with the
safe operation of any other vessel or any aircraft.
(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply to-
(a) a public officer in the exercise of his powers or performance of his
duty; and
(b) Her Majesty's forces.
(3) Any person who without reasonable excuse contravenes paragraph
(1) commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $5000.
