SHIPPING AND PORT CONTROL REGULATIONS - REGULATION 59
Identification marks on logs
(1) The owner of logs stored in the waters of Hong Kong shall mark every such
log for the purpose of identifying the owner and shall notify the Director in
writing of the identification mark used.
(2) Any owner of logs who contravenes paragraph (1) commits an offence and is
liable to a fine of $10000 and to imprisonment for 6 months.
