SHIPPING AND PORT CONTROL REGULATIONS - REGULATION 58

Approval of timber storage pounds

(1) The Director may approve as a timber storage pound any area of the waters
of Hong Kong in which logs and other timber may be stored, whether floating or
submerged, and in granting such approval he may impose such conditions as he
thinks fit.

(2) Any person who fails to comply with any condition imposed under paragraph
(1) commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $10000 and to imprisonment
for 6 months.
