Possession of radiotelephone equipment

(1) Every vessel shall have on board radiotelephone equipment that is capable
of operation in the VHF band on the channels specified in the First Schedule.

(2) The radiotelephone equipment shall at all times be maintained in good
working condition and shall be available for operation on the navigational
bridge of a vessel.
