RADIATION (CONTROL OF IRRADIATING APPARATUS) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 12
Employers to report suspected cases of over-exposure to radiation
(1) Every employer who has reason to believe that any person employed by him
is or appears to be suffering from the effects of over-exposure to radiation
shall notify the Board in writing of the facts upon which such belief is based
as soon as may be, and in any event not later than 7 days, after such facts
have come to his knowledge.
(2) Any employer who fails to comply with any of the provisions of
subregulation (1) shall be guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction to
a fine of $6000. (L.N. 97 of 1970: L.N. 225 of 1990)
