RADIATION (CONTROL OF RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 9
Disposal of radioactive waste
(1) No person shall dispose of, or cause or permit the disposal of, any
radioactive waste from any place otherwise than by a method approved by the
Board either generally by notification in the Gazette or in writing in any
particular case.
(2) Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of subregulation (1)
shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of $15000.
