RADIATION (CONTROL OF RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 31

Prohibition of the use of mouth-operated equipment

(1) No proprietor of any affected undertaking or affected 
industrial undertaking shall cause or permit any person employed therein in
work involving the handling of any unsealed radioactive substance to operate
by means of his mouth any plant, apparatus or other equipment whatsoever.

(2) Any proprietor of any affected undertaking or affected 
industrial undertaking who contravenes any of the provisions of subregulation
(1) shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of
