Disposal and transport of radioactive waste

(1) The proprietor of any affected undertaking or affected 
industrial undertaking shall cause all radioactive waste to be removed at
frequent intervals from any workplace in which any radioactive substance,
including any sealed source, is handled, and in any case at the end of each
working day or shift, and shall cause such waste to be placed in one or more
containers of a type approved by the Authority and thereafter disposed of in
accordance with the provisions of regulation 9.

(2) Any proprietor of any affected undertaking or affected 
industrial undertaking who fails to comply with any of the provisions of
subregulation (1) shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a
