DANGEROUS GOODS (GENERAL) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 82

Conditions for grant of licence

No licence shall be granted or renewed by the Authority for the storage of any
corrosive substance unless the Authority is satisfied in relation to the store
that-

   (a)  the site of the store and the plan referred to in regulation 81 have
        been approved by him and the construction of the store conforms with
        the plan; and

   (b)  in the case of any part of the store intended for the storage of
        corrosive substances in liquid form, the flooring and walls are
        constructed of impervious brickwork, masonry or cement and so
        constructed as to retain, in the event of spillage, the total quantity
        of liquid stored therein.
