DANGEROUS GOODS (GENERAL) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 44

Requirements as to marking of packages

(1) Any outer package containing explosives shall, in addition to any other
labels or markings required under the Ordinance, be marked on the outside
thereof as follows-

   (a)  in the case of any explosive whatsoever, with the name of the
        manufacturer;

   (b)  in the case of any explosive, other than safety fuse, with the
        category, class and division to which it belongs;

   (c)  in the case of any explosive in category 1, class 3 or 4

(nitrocompound or chlorate mixture), with the date of manufacture.

(2) Where an outer package contains more than one explosive, the marking
required by this regulation shall be affixed separately in respect of each
explosive so contained.
