HOUSING (TENANCY APPEALS) RULES - SECT 5

Failure of appellant to attend hearing

If an appellant does not appear or is not represented at a hearing of the
appeal, the tribunal may, if satisfied that notice under section 3(2)(c) has
been given to him-

   (a)  proceed to hear the appeal in the absence of the appellant; or

   (b)  adjourn the hearing. (Enacted 1995)
