HOUSING (TRAFFIC) BY-LAWS - BYLAW 5

Designation of parking places

(1) The Authority may designate any place on a restricted road as a parking
place and may appropriate the use of such parking place for any particular
period or allocate such parking place for the use of vehicles of any
description or of any particular type or class or for the use of any person or
persons of any particular class. (L.N. 418 of 1984)

(2) The Authority may indicate the designation of a parking place by means of
road markings in accordance with diagram 14, 15 or 16. (L.N. 418 of 1984)

(3) The Authority may, with the approval of the Commissioner for Transport and
the Director of Highways, by the erection or placing of the appropriate signs
in accordance with the diagrams in the Schedule indicate that a parking space
within a parking place may be used- (L.N. 127 of 1986)

   (a)  for vehicles of a particular description, type or class, or by any
        person or persons of a particular class;

   (b)  at particular times; or

   (c)  on particular days. (L.N. 418 of 1984)

(4) The Authority may amend, suspend or cancel any designation under paragraph
(1)-

   (a)  by covering any sign;

   (b)  by the erection or placing of the sign in accordance with diagram 8;
        or

   (c)  by the removal of any sign. (L.N. 418 of 1984)
