HOUSING (TRAFFIC) BY-LAWS - BYLAW 34

Repair of vehicles

(1) Subject to paragraph (3), no person shall carry out or cause or permit to
be carried out on a vehicle in a parking place or car park any maintenance or
repair or be in a parking place or car park for the purpose of carrying out
such maintenance or repair. (L.N. 418 of 1984)

(2) Any person who contravenes this by-law commits an offence and is liable to
a fine of $2000. (L.N. 418 of 1984)

(3) It shall be a good defence to any proceedings under this by-law to prove
that any maintenance or repair was necessary to enable the vehicle to be
removed from the parking place or car park.
