TRAINING CENTRES REGULATIONS - REGULATION 2

Interpretation

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires-

"inmate" (被羈留者) means a person detained or ordered to be detained
under the provisions of the Ordinance;

"officer" (人員) means any officer employed by or in the Prisons Department;

"officer-in-charge" (主管人員) means an officer, not below the rank of
Chief Officer, appointed by the Commissioner to be in charge of a training
centre; (L.N. 25 of 1974)

"Superintendent" (監督) means an officer appointed by the Commissioner to
assist him in the supervision of training centres.
