PEAK TRAMWAY (SAFETY) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 20

Duty to report certain occurrences

The company shall as soon as is practicable thereafter report to the Director
the occurrence of any of the following-

   (a)  the death of or injury to any person on the tramway;

   (b)  the breakage of the hauling rope;

   (c)  the failure of the main drive other than by reason of the failure of
        the main power supply;

   (d)  the failure of any braking system;

   (e)  any rescue operation required along the track;

   (f)  any fire;

   (g)  any landslide;

   (h)  any wash-out; and

   (i)  any other occurrence as may reasonably be required from time to time
        by the Director. (Enacted 1989)
