Safety and hygiene

(Past version on 30/09/1997).

(1) The premises, furniture, furnishings, fittings, equipment, toys and
materials of a mutual help child care centre to which the children have access
in the centre shall be maintained in a safe, clean and sanitary condition.

(2) The operator of the centre shall ensure that the requirements of paragraph
(1) are complied with and that, so far as is reasonably practicable, hazards
to the safety of the children attending the centre are corrected, repaired,
removed or made inaccessible to the children. (Part VB added L.N. 272 of 1997)
