CHILD CARE CENTRES REGULATIONS - REGULATION 23

Periodic inspection of premises

(1) The operator of a centre shall, at intervals not exceeding 3 years,
request such person as shall be specified by the Director for the purposes of
this regulation to inspect the premises in order to determine whether the
premises are in a sound structural condition. (L.N. 90 of 1980; L.N. 272 of

(2) Where an inspection is carried out under paragraph (1), the person
specified under paragraph (1) shall- (L.N. 90 of 1980; L.N. 76 of 1982; L.N.

   (a)  deliver to the Director a report in writing on the structural
        condition of the premises; and

   (b)  cause a copy of such report to be served on the operator of the
        centre.
