CHILD CARE SERVICES REGULATIONS - REGULATION 19

Maximum height of centres

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

No part of any centre premises, except the parapet wall around a roof
playground, shall be situated at a height-

   (a)  in the case of a centre used for children under 2 years of age, of
        more than 12 m; or

   (b)  in any other case, of more than 24 m, above ground level: Provided
        that the Director, with the advice of the Director of Fire Services,
        may by notice in writing authorize that any part of such premises be
        situated at such greater height as may be specified in the notice.
