FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION REGULATIONS - REGULATION 5

Commissioner may require applicant or licensee to submit arms or ammunition for inspection, etc.

(1) The Commissioner may require any applicant for a licence or an exemption
to submit to him for inspection or testing the arms or ammunition, or any part
thereof, in respect of which the application is being made.

(2) Where a licence or an exemption has been granted, the Commissioner may, at
any time during the currency of the licence or exemption, require the holder
to submit to him for inspection or testing the arms or ammunition, or any part
thereof, to which the licence or exemption relates.

(3) Any person who without reasonable excuse fails to comply with a
requirement under paragraph (1) or (2) commits an offence and is liable to a
fine of $10000.
