PRISON RULES - RULE 59
Duty of Principal Officer before he accepts a report against a prisoner
It shall be the duty of the Principal Officer on duty before he accepts a
report made against a prisoner, to inform such prisoner of the facts alleged
against him and to afford him an opportunity of making his reply.
