PRISON RULES - RULE 22

Payment of portion of fine to obtain remission

Any payment made in part satisfaction of the sum adjudged to be paid by a
prisoner and of any charges for which he is liable, in order to obtain the
remission of a part of his imprisonment, as provided by section 114 of the
Criminal Procedure Ordinance ( Cap 221) and section 37 of the Magistrates 
Ordinance ( Cap 227) shall be made only on a week-day between the hours of 9
and 12 in the morning and 2 and 4 in the afternoon.
