HONG KONG AUXILIARY POLICE FORCE REGULATIONS - REGULATION 10
Medical treatment

Adaptation amendments retroactively made - see 76 of 1999 s. 3
Any member who sustains any injury or contracts any illness in the course of
and arising out of the discharge of duty or which is directly attributable to
the discharge of such duty shall be entitled-
(a) to medical treatment, including admission to hospital, in the manner
prescribed by the government regulations for members of the Police
Force of equivalent rank; and (76 of 1999 s. 3)
(b) to receive pay and allowances at the rates provided by section 9 of
the Auxiliary Forces Pay and Allowances Ordinance ( Cap 254) in
respect of training until such time as-
(i) a Government medical officer certifies that he has recovered
from such injury or illness; or
(ii) he ceases to be a member. (20 of 1997 s. 12)
