These rules may be cited as the Criminal Procedure (Representation) Rules.

CRIMINAL PROCEDURE (REPRESENTATION) RULES - RULE 2
Giving of notice of appointment by representing solicitors VerDate:01/07/1997


Adaptation amendments retroactively made - see 25 of 1998 s. 2; 39 of 1999 
s. 3
A solicitor who accepts instructions to represent a party other than the 
HKSAR in any proceedings in the criminal jurisdiction of the Court of 
Appeal or the Court of First Instance shall forthwith give notice of his 
appointment to the Registrar in accordance with the form in the Schedule.

Crown in any proceedings in the criminal jurisdiction of the Court of 
Appeal or the High Court shall forthwith give notice of his appointment to 
the Registrar in accordance with the form in the Schedule.
