CRIMINAL APPEAL RULES - RULE 36
Time for appealing against sentence
The time within which a convicted person shall give notice of appeal, or
notice of application for leave to appeal, against his sentence shall commence
to run from the day on which the sentence was passed upon him by the trial
judge.
