AERIAL ROPEWAYS (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 27
Communication systems
(1) The controller on duty when an aerial ropeway is in operation shall not
operate the ropeway unless sufficient of the ropeway's communications systems
are available to provide safe and effective communication at all times. (L.N.
240 of 1981)
(2) The owner of an aerial ropeway shall ensure that not less than one station
is connected with the public telephone system.
