AERIAL ROPEWAYS (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 14
Prohibited persons
The controller on duty when an aerial ropeway is in operation shall ensure
that there is not carried on the ropeway-
(a) any person whom he believes or is given reasonable cause to believe is
under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
(b) any person whom he believes or is given reasonable cause to believe is
suffering from a contagious disease;
(c) any person whom he believes or is given reasonable cause to believe
may prejudice the safety of the ropeway; or
(d) any person suffering from physical or mental handicap whom he believes
or is given reasonable cause to believe would be likely to prejudice
the safety of the ropeway, unless special arrangements have been made,
with the approval of the Director, for the carriage of such person.
