ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION RULES - RULE 6
Oath on admission as solicitor
Before a person who has been ordered to be admitted as a solicitor in
accordance with rule 5(2) is so admitted, he shall subscribe the oath
following- "I, A.B., do swear (or solemnly, sincerely and truly declare and
affirm) that I will truly and honestly conduct myself in the practice of
solicitor, according to the best of my knowledge and ability. So help me
God.": Provided that in the case of a declaration or affirmation the last 4
words of such oath shall be omitted. (L.N. 55 of 1977; L.N. 274 of 1979; L.N.
