BATHING BEACHES REGULATION - SECT 16

Offences and penalties

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

Any person who-

   (a)  contravenes any of the provisions of section 5, 6, 7, 8, 9(1), 11(1)
        or (3), 12, 14, or 15; or

   (b)  without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with any of the
        requirements of a notice posted under section 4(2), shall be guilty of
        an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine at
        level 1 and to imprisonment for 14 days. (L.N. 299 of 1992; L.N. 177
