SLAUGHTERHOUSES (URBAN COUNCIL) BYLAWS - BYLAW 37

Penalties

(1) Any person who commits an offence under bylaw 5(1), 9(1), 22(2) or (3) or
23(1) is liable to a fine at level 5 and to imprisonment for 6 months and, in
the case of a continuing offence, is liable, in addition, to a fine of $700
for each day during which is proved to the satisfaction of the court that the
offence has continued.

(2) Any person who commits an offence under these bylaws (other than bylaw
5(1), 9(1), 22(2) or (3) or 23(1)) is liable to a fine at level 4 and to
imprisonment for 6 months and, in the case of a continuing offence under bylaw
26, 27, 30 or 31, is liable, in addition, to a fine of $350 for each day
during which it is proved to the satisfaction of the court that the offence
has continued.
