Penalties

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

(1) Any person who commits an offence under section 5(1), 9(1), 22(2) or (3)
or 23(1) is liable to a fine at level 5 and to imprisonment for 6 months and,
in the case of a continuing offence, is liable, in addition, to a fine of $600
for each day during which it is proved to the satisfaction of the court that
the offence has continued.

(2) Any person who commits an offence under this Regulation (other than
section 5(1), 9(1), 22(2) or (3) or 23(1)) is liable to a fine at level 4 and
to imprisonment for 6 months and, in the case of a continuing offence under
section 26, 27, 30 or 31, is liable, in addition, to a fine of $300 for each
day during which it is proved to the satisfaction of the court that the
