PLEASURE GROUNDS REGULATION - SECT 23A

Prohibition of tampering with hot wax

(Past version on 25/07/1997).

(1) No person shall, in any pleasure ground-

   (a)  melt or burn any wax; or

   (b)  sprinkle or pour any liquid onto any hot wax, in such a manner as to
        cause or as to be likely to cause a risk of injury to any person or
        damage to any property.

(2) It shall be a defence to a charge under subsection (1) for a keeper or
other public officer if he has acted with reasonable care and in the course of
