FOOD BUSINESS (URBAN COUNCIL) BY-LAWS (EXEMPTION FROM BY-LAW 32(1)) (CONSOLIDATION) NOTICE - PARAGRAPH 2
Exemptions from by-law 32(1)

Any person who-
(a) carries on the business of bottling or canning edible oil; or
(b) carries on the business of a restaurant selling cooked food or light
refreshments or of a siu mei and lo mei shop, and does so in a public
market in a stall which he holds under a tenancy agreement with the
Urban Council; or
(c) carries on the business of sorting, sifting, drying or repacking of
tea; or (L.N. 106 of 1984)
(d) carries on the business of packing of rice, (L.N. 101 of 1993) is
hereby exempted, to the extent of such business, from the obligation
to hold a food business licence under by-law 32(1) of the
Food Business (Urban Council) By-laws (Cap. 132 sub. leg). (L.N. 299
