BUILDING (STANDARDS OF SANITARY FITMENTS, PLUMBING, DRAINAGE WORKS AND LATRINES) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 84

Internal surfaces

The internal surfaces of every latrine shall be-

   (a)  faced with tiles; or

   (b)  rendered in-

        (i)    cement mortar, not less than 12.5 mm thick; or

        (ii)   other non-absorbent material, to a height of not less than 1.2
               m from the level of the floor of the latrine. (L.N. 294 of
