BUILDING (CONSTRUCTION) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 65
General requirement
(1) Retaining walls shall be designed and constructed to support safely the
earth or fill they retain and other loads without impairing the stability of,
or causing damage to, any other building, structure, land, street or services.
(2) The design and construction of minor retaining walls shall comply with
subregulation (1) but shall be exempted from regulations 66 to 84. (Enacted
1990)
