BUILDING (CONSTRUCTION) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 23

Foundation works

(1) Foundation works shall be carried out so as not to render inadequate the
margin of safety of, or impair the stability of, or cause damage to any
building, structure, land, street or services.

(2) Where dewatering is to be undertaken, appropriate procedures shall be
adopted and precautionary measures shall be provided to prevent any undue
resultant deformation or other movement which could impair the stability of,
or cause damage to, any building, structure, land, street or services.
