Interpretation
PART VI
FOUNDATIONS
In this Part-
"ultimate bearing capacity" (極限承載力) in relation to ground that
supports foundations, means the value of the loading intensity at which the
resistance of the ground becomes fully mobilized or undergoes substantial
deformation;
"working load" (工作荷載) means the loads calculated in accordance with
Part III which the foundation is designed to carry. (Enacted 1990)
