(L.N. 59 of 1988) RESOLUTIONS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL - PARAGRAPH K VerDate:30/06/1997 (k) under sections 2 and 18(1) of the Rating Ordinance on 4 July 1990: RESOLVED that with effect form 1 April 1990 the percentage prescribed for the purposes of section 18(1) of the Rating Ordinance shall be in respect of every tenement- (a) in the Urban Council area be- (i) general rates 4.0%; (ii) Urban Council rates 3.5%; (b) in the Regional Council area be- (i) general rates 1.5%; (ii) Regional Council rates 6.0%. (L.N. 219 of 1990) RESOLUTIONS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL - PARAGRAPH L VerDate:30/06/1997 (l) under sections 18(1), 19(1)(b) and 36(1)(l) of the Rating Ordinance on 15 May 1991: RESOLVED that- (a) with effect from 1 April 1991 the percentage prescribed for the purposes of section 18(1) of the Rating Ordinance is in respect of every tenement- (i) in the Urban Council area- (A) general rates 2.5%; (B) Urban Council rates 3.0%; (ii) in the Regional Council area- (A) general rates 1.75%; (B) Regional Council rates 3.75%; (b) the prescribed percentage for the purposes of section 19(1)(b) of the Rating Ordinance in relation to the year beginning on 1 April 1991 and ending on 31 March 1992 is 25%; and (c) with effect from 1 April 1991 the amount prescribed for the purposes of section 36(1)(l) of the Rating Ordinance is $2000. (L.N. 196 of 1991) RESOLUTIONS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL - PARAGRAPH M VerDate:30/06/1997 (m) under section 18(1) of the Rating Ordinance on 18 May 1994: RESOLVED that- (a) with effect from 1 April 1994 the percentage prescribed for the purposes of section 18(1) of the Rating Ordinance is in respect of every tenement- (i) in the Urban Council area- (A) general rates 2.7%; (B) Urban Council rates 2.8%; (ii) in the Regional Council area- (A) general rates 1.1%; (B) Regional Council rates 4.4%; (b) the prescribed percentage for the purposes of section 19(1)(b) of the Rating Ordinance in relation to each of the years beginning on 1 April 1994 and ending on 31 March 1995 and beginning on 1 April 1995 and ending on 31 March 1996 is 20%; and (c) with effect from 1 April 1994 the amount prescribed for the purpose of section 36(1)(l) of the Rating Ordinance is $2600. (L.N. 288 of 1994) RESOLUTIONS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL - PARAGRAPH N VerDate:01/04/1998 (n) under sections 18(1), 19(1)(b) and 36(1)(l) of the Rating Ordinance on 14 May 1997: RESOLVED that- (a) with effect from 1 April 1997, the percentage prescribed for the purposes of section 18(1) of the Rating Ordinance is in respect of every tenement- (i) in the Urban Council area- (A) general rates 2.4%; (B) Urban Council rates 2.6%; (ii) in the Regional Council area- (A) general rates 0.8%; (B) Regional Council rates 4.2%; (b) the prescribed percentage for the purposes of section 19(1)(b) of the Rating Ordinance in relation to each of the years beginning on 1 April 1997 and ending on 31 March 1998 and beginning on 1 April 1998 and ending on 31 March 1999 is 20%; and (c) with effect from 1 April 1997, the amount prescribed for the purposes of section 36(1)(l) of the Rating Ordinance is $3000.
