IMMIGRATION (VIETNAMESE BOAT PEOPLE) (SHEK KWU CHAU DETENTION CENTRE) RULES - RULE 40

Supplying unauthorized articles to detainees

Any person who-

   (a)  without the permission of the Superintendent or of the Manager sells
        any intoxicating liquor, opium or other drug, tobacco or other
        article, in the Centre; or

   (b)  being a person employed in the Centre, permits any article to be sold
        in the Centre without the permission of the Superintendent or of the
        Manager, commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $5000 and to
        imprisonment for 6 months. (Enacted 1991)
