IMMIGRATION (VIETNAMESE BOAT PEOPLE) (SHEK KWU CHAU DETENTION CENTRE) RULES - RULE 25

Employment

(1) A detainee may undertake within the Centre any occupation or employment
permitted by the Manager.

(2) Except for good cause the Manager shall not refuse permission to a
detainee to undertake any occupation or employment for which he is qualified
and which is made available at the Centre.

(3) A detainee employed within the Centre shall be paid in accordance with
rates fixed by the Commissioner. (Enacted 1991)
