IMMIGRATION (VIETNAMESE MIGRANTS) (DETENTION CENTRES) RULES - RULE 40
Supplying unauthorized articles to detainees
Any person-
(a) who without the permission of the Superintendent of a detention centre
sells any intoxicating liquor, opium or other drug, tobacco or other
article, in the detention centre; or
(b) being a person employed in a detention centre, who permits any article
to be sold in a detention centre without the permission of the
Superintendent, commits an offence and is liable to a fine of $5000
and to imprisonment for 6 months. (L.N. 176 of 1992)
