IMMIGRATION (VIETNAMESE MIGRANTS) (DETENTION CENTRES) RULES - RULE 38
Use of force
(1) No officer in dealing with detainees shall use force unnecessarily and,
when the application of force to a detainee is necessary, no more force than
is necessary shall be used.
(2) No officer shall deliberately act in a manner calculated to provoke a
detainee. (Enacted 1989)
