IMMIGRATION (PLACES OF DETENTION) ORDER - PARAGRAPH 4

Treatment of children and juveniles

A person, who in the opinion of an immigration officer is under the age of 18
years, may be detained in any place set out in Schedule 2 and shall receive
the same treatment as that which is accorded to a child or juvenile detained
in a place of refuge under section 34E of the Protection 
of Children and Juveniles Ordinance ( Cap 213). (L.N. 649 of 1994)
