IMMIGRATION REGULATIONS - REGULATION 11
Fees
(Past version on 30/06/1997).
(1) The fees set out in Schedule 2 shall be payable for the issue or renewal
of documents issued by or on behalf of the Director of Immigration and for
visas and other matters arising under the Ordinance. (L.N. 137 of 1994)
(1A) If an applicant for the issue or renewal of a seaman's identity book or a
document of identity wishes to collect the seaman's identity book or document
of identity at a place outside Hong Kong and the Director of Immigration
considers that it is reasonably practicable to do so, an additional fee set
out in item 24 of Schedule 2 shall be payable for delivering the seaman's
identity book or document of identity to that place. (L.N. 318 of 1998)
(2)-(3) (Repealed 88 of 1997 s. 25)
(4) Any fee payable under paragraph (1) or (1A) may be remitted or refunded by
the Director in such cases as the Governor may direct. (L.N. 118 of 1972; L.N.
318 of 1998)
(5) An applicant shall pay the application fee in item 21 of Schedule 2 to the
Director for an application for a quota allocation under a scheme to import
managers and professional persons. (L.N. 137 of 1994)
